Most scientists believe that the Universe had a beginning, so in order for the universe to have a beginning, the thing that created it has to be outside of the Universe. Christians will state that God created the Universe, so then, what created God?

This question is not a question that could only be asked, atheist to christian. With the same logic of this argument, you can ask an Darwinist, "If the Universe was created by The Big Bang, then what created the Big Bang?". This question has a short answer...
Everything in the Universe can be boiled down to Energy, Time, Space, and Matter, nothing in the Universe can go beyond these 4 elements, so in order for these things to be created the 'Creator' needs to be outside of these four natural elements, so the thing that created the four natural elements has to be supernatural, outside of natural forces of nature (i.e. Energy, Time, Space, and Matter). So the Creator that created the four elements has to be outside of the elements. The Bible answers this in the very first verse,

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1 KJV

"In the beginning" - Time, "God created the heaven" - Space "And the earth." - Matter. Time, Space, Matter, created in the same instance, so God has to be outside of Space, Time, and Matter. And since we already covered the fact that everything in the Universe can be melted down to, Time, Space, Matter & Energy, nothing could've created God, because God is outside of these elements. So to say, "Who created God?" is a question assuming that The God of the Bible needs to have a beginning, if you think that, then you have a different God than that which the Bible teaches. The God of the Bible is necessary as the Bible clearly says,

So, The God of the Bible does NOT need a creator.
So, the short answer to the question, "If God created the Universe, then who created God?" is,
1. If God created the Universe, then God does not need a creator, because God is not limited by, Time, Space, Matter or Energy.
2. The Bible says, "I AM that I AM" God always existed.
3. The Origin of The Universe is definable as 'Supernatural', so the Origin of the Universe in the Creationist's view is called, God.
It's popular among atheists to claim that the universe had no beginning, and that time-space did not come into existence ex nilio because such an event is obvious a supernatural creation event. In so doing they argue that the universe did not need a cause. Those same atheists tend to ask the question, "Where did God come from? What created God"? When they do this, they acknowledge the Law of Causality - that all material things have a cause and attempt to place God in the same category as a material thing. When atheists do this, they contradict themselves, for on one hand they claim the material realm of space-time did not need a cause, while silently acknowledging that space-time…
