If God Created The Universe, Then Who Created God?

Updated: Jun 8, 2019

Most scientists believe that the Universe had a beginning, so in order for the universe to have a beginning, the thing that created it has to be outside of the Universe. Christians will state that God created the Universe, so then, what created God?

This is a fair question, although this question is a fallacy, with the same logic of this argument, you can ask an Evolutionist, "If the Universe was created by The Big Bang, then what created the Big Bang?". This question has a short answer...

Everything in the Universe can be boiled down to Energy, Time, Space, and Matter, nothing in the Universe can go beyond these 4 elements, so in order for these things to be created the 'Creator' needs to be outside of these four natural elements, so the thing that created the four natural elements has to be supernatural, outside of natural forces of nature (i.e. Energy, Time, Space, and Matter). So the Creator that created the four elements has to be outside of the elements. The Bible answers this in the very first verse,

_______________________________________________________________________________

"In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." Genesis 1:1 KJV

_______________________________________________________________________________

"In the beginning" There's Time, "God created the heaven" There's Space "And the earth." There's Matter. Time, Space, Matter, created in the same instance, so God has to be outside of Space, Time, an Matter. And since we already covered the fact that everything in the Universe can be melted down to, Time, Space, Matter & Energy, nothing could've created God, because God is outside of these elements. So to say, "Who created God?" is a question assuming that The God of the Bible needs to have a beginning, if you think that, then you have a different God. The God of the Bible is infinite as the Bible clearly says,

"And God said unto Moses, I AM That I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I Am hath sent me unto you." Exodus 3:14 KJV

So, The God of the Bible does NOT need a creator.

So, the short answer to the question, "If God created the Universe, then who created God?" is,

1. If God created the Universe, then God does not need a creator, because God is not limited by, Time, Space, Matter or Energy.

2. The Bible says, "I AM that I AM" God always existed.

3. The Origin of The Universe is definable as 'Supernatural', so the Origin of the Universe in the Creationist's view is called, God.

And so, we have seen the Scientific reason of why God would not need a beginning. God's eternal, and God is not limited by Time, Space, Matter (or Energy).
